I just asked a question...

Obviously this isn't the place to have good faith debate. Out.

The correct answer is, no, trans women should not be excluded from sports.

I have to admit that my feelings don't live up to my aspiration.

I have not made up my mind on this issue. But, on the surface, it does seem like a man who has recently transitioned into a woman has an unfair advantage over a woman in a fight. Do you have an argument against this?

Where did you go to school... Hogwarts?

I barely graduated high school because I was unmotivated and didn't pay attention. I then skipped out on college and was pretty much a vagabond for many years after a couple listless years in the army. I've only relatively recently become interested in educating myself on topics such as these. Please provide a reasonable counter argument to this because this is all I hear on the issue. It would be good for my brain.

I went through this FAQ: https://www.aclu.org/news/lgbt-rights/f ... -debunked/

But the most convincing argument for me is that there have always been very strong and athletic women who may have been cis or genetically indistinct that get unfairly swept up into attempts to ban transgender women from sports.

Could a strong male athlete start living as a woman just to dominate women's sports? Maybe I guess, but despite conservative horror stories, gender isn't the flick of a switch.

It absolutely is when self-ID is the only criteria.

To mitigate the possibility, then, should trans women be required to meet a set of criteria before competing with other women?

I believe the Int. Olympic Committee has set limits on blood testosterone levels.

Is it? It is something, but it is not going to undo a lifetime of training with a legal biochemical advantage in muscle development.

Why not let them compete against males then? Or have a trans women league?

I'm just asking questions, wease. Should a question be so taboo to be unspeakable? I just want to know what you think. I'm not saying I even have an opinion.
