Not to derail the thread but... a group of angry fans once flew banners over Arrowhead Stadium that said "Bench Cassel / Fire Pioli" at every Chiefs home game. I know the guys who started that campaign. So, yes! I can imagine being that mad. At least this seems like a better cause.B wrote:I just looked it up. It costs $500-$3000 to fly a banner like that. Not counting the cost of making the giant flag. Can you imagine being that mad?

The NASCAR banner seems like a better cause to spend the money on than the Chiefs stuff.

I took the banner as folks being angry that the flag was banned at all NASCAR events? Also, I was just busting your balls.durdencommatyler wrote:Sorry, I left out a word (fixed it).Self wrote:The flag or Cassel and Pioli?durdencommatyler wrote:Not to derail the thread but... a group of angry fans once flew banners over Arrowhead Stadium that said "Bench Cassel / Fire Pioli" at every Chiefs home game. It’s so cute they made a sport out of those little cars driving around in circles

I don’t care about NASCAR but have you seen what they’ve done to the LA Coliseum? It looks too small to be a nascar track. Is it permanent? It seems like a lot of work for a one time event? They’re splitting one race into two separate “halves”? It is definitely going to be different on a quarter mile track.

I think NASCAR is mostly junk, but I found this surprising. The new gen Camaro, when modified for Le Mans, was out performing a number of the major team's GTs.

Take it no fans here? I hit BIG on Stenhouse winning Daytona this year and I've been hooked all season long. I even went to my first race in July at Richmond. It was HOT and LOUD!
I love Nascar.
