And we've done stuff socially with these people. This has disturbed me quite a bit. Thank Christ their kid has more sense than they do.

Disney's changing Splash Mountain from a "Song of the South" theme to a "Princess and the Frog" theme.

Will it be racist or progressive for white women to flash their boobs at the camera?

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Probably a good thing but why do they need to make a thing of it. Just makes the change and get on with it.B wrote:Disney's changing Splash Mountain from a "Song of the South" theme to a "Princess and the Frog" theme.

This is one of the most valid gripes from the opposition. Virtue signaling like this is so blech. I know I'm guilty of it and it's something I work on all the time.B wrote:Everyone wants to show how progressive they are being.surfndestroy wrote:Probably a good thing but why do they need to make a thing of it. The newest episode of Reply All talks about this and it's fantastic. I'd highly recommend it for anyone interested.

Disneyland completely changing one of its most iconic rides is always going to be a story. Why not let it be known? Why not let people know that the change is a good change and that it matters? I understand the virtue signaling, but also feel like things like this can help to emphasize and support the message.

If people have been complaining about it, why wouldn't Disney tell those people that they're addressing it?durdencommatyler wrote:This is one of the most valid gripes from the opposition. A better question is did anyone know that it was SotS themed to begin with?

Back when I was 19, I spent 6 months in the town next to there (Mauston). The Wisconsin Dells was the only place within 90 min or so to go when the boredom became unbearable.verb_to_trust wrote:My co worker is at the Wisconsin Dells this week with his family. People enjoy horrible places.
