By the way, extrapolating from those numbers and assuming we reach herd immunity at 70% without any vaccine intervention, that would put us at 1.5 million deaths. Very cool!

It’s a small study, but it’s really one sided in its findings. Half asymptomatic, half symptomatic. 90% no longer had antibodies after 3 months.

Follow-ups and reproduction studies are already underway

Residual antibodies is different from herd immunity. I think many scientists assumed, based on other viruses in the corona family, that we'd have a year of resistance, give or take, after infection. It wouldn't mean we could just go the Sweden route but some post-infection resistance is integral to maintaining order until a vaccine is developed.

People maintain immunity for a lot of diseases with undetectable levels of antibodies. Maybe this means something. Maybe it doesn't.
