Re: The Running Thread
You probably just need to slow down and acclimate to the heat.

Re: The Running Thread
I’m running at a very moderate pace, and it was above the max before it got hot...i don’t think I’ve run more than .6 miles at a time before walking, so it’s not like I’m going farghost wrote:You probably just need to slow down and acclimate to the heat.

Really impressed with the Boston 9. They're going to give the 7 a run for it's money.

I wasn't clowning them they just genuinely looked like they had 500 miles on them. Sorry!

Re: The Running Thread
Lol. They should have at least that many miles but I've wasted most of 2020 and suddenly decided that 100 degree temps are the time to start running again. Go figure.

Re: The Running Thread
There is zero chance your heart rate is 192 after running what, a half mile? You're lying. You've made all this up.

it wasn't even that far at a time...i was just doing intervals for the first 3ish milesverb_to_trust wrote:There is zero chance your heart rate is 192 after running what, a half mile? You're lying. You've made all this up.

i went 6.35 miles in an hour and a half and my average heart rate was freakin' 165
i don't understand...does this just mean i'm really badly out of shape? because the ecg came back perfectly fine, and my resting heart rate is around 65-68
