It's quite possibly a valid response by the driver to rapid decline in state legitimacy.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

It wasn't happening near to near the extent prior to our current decline in state legitimacy. There does seem to be a correlation with people being hit on the street by cars as the social contract breaks down along with the decline in state legitimacy. Not stating causation merely correlation. It would be for others to explore to see if causation is present.

Yeah that's not the part I'm most skeptical of.

Mickey wrote:Do these posts make you feel better about yourself Bryan? It's definitely still a developing story, but according to the police these are the details right now:
They say a passenger in the red Toyota got out and threw someone's scooter that had been left in the roadway. According to Bloomington police, a 29-year-old woman tried to intervene, walking in front of the car and putting her hands on the hood. The driver of the car then accelerated, with the woman ending up on the hood of the car. A 35-year-old man grabbed onto the side of the car as it pulled away.
So two idiots decided to get tangled up with a moving vehicle? Yep, sounds dumb to me.

An account I read said that the scooter guy was blocking the road and trying to direct the car around the people that had gathered to shout and yell.

Can something sound dumb, as in ill-advised, and still not be deserving of assault?

I don't claim to be witty, but what if in Burtville the violence was stupid?

So long as cancel culture expresses itself through violence, Burt supports it.

Yeah, that’s why your cancel culture posts are always “this isn’t violent enough a canceling”

I'm sure there is some rational calculus that determines the acceptable level of violence in response to physically preventing me from going where I want to go, but I lean toward one that could only be described as draconian.

people should not be walking in the street to protest unless they have a permit obtained from their regional feudal lord
