I was at the 1992 Duke/Kentucky game where Laettner hit "the shot".

Re: Your most famous sporting event
I was at the first professional-level start of 2013 first overall draft pick Mark Appel, a promising young pitcher then in the Astros organization. It was a low-A minor league game. I saved the ticket stub in the hopes that he would develop into a Hall-of-Famer and I could sell it for thousands of dollars someday, but that didn't pan out. He never even made it to the show

Re: Your most famous sporting event
This is a great topic, but I don't think I have an answer that would be interesting at all. I was at the park when the Red Sox clinched the division in 2013 on their way to winning the World Series. I think that's it. My brother was at the game where Wade Boggs got his 2000th hit.

I met Pete Rose during a layover going to a Pearl Jan concert --one of those spectrum closers. I talked to him and his bodyguard? At length about the 1981 Phillies. I pretended I didn't know he was Pete Rose . He was puzzled

I was where chud sits when the Atlanta Braves were nothing at the beginning of the season when they won the world series 1991? At the beginning of the year, the stadium was empty though . And so I could move down and sat where chud sits with his boogie when he does so

i was not in the stadium but rather watching on a big screen at the Eiffel tower during the 1998 world cup final France v Italy, which went to a shootout, and France won, and the city erupted and didn't stop for the next 69 hours

I saw the grateful dead at RFK , Philadelphia or DC? Idk. It was the last event there before they tore it down. It was also the only show of theirs that for some reason I don't have the ticket stub

LeBron buzzer beater at the UC eastern conference semis.
Dos a Cero against Mexico to clinch 2014 WC berth in Columbus.
Game 2 of the Bartman series where the Cubs beat the shit out of the Marlins.
I haven't really been to any famous famous games i guess.
