I like the song and I appreciate that it can take on an extra poignancy considering the current climate but "THIS IS the WRONG TIME to DISS A SONG YOU DON'T LIKE" is a bad bad take

I was referring more to how powerful it is in the moment. Diss away!

WMA has a great bass line, and sort of takes a different vibe and focus to add some range to an album that could sound very same-y without it. Go, Animal, Glorified G, Dissident, Rearviewmirror... a lot of big rock songs that need something other than a ballad to balance it out. WMA more than fits the bill, much in the way Oceans served to rectify a similar scenario in Ten. It even in a sense serves as a palate cleanser so the songs don’t run together. It’s what the album needs. Daughter and Small Town are slower songs but aren’t as effective at doing this as WMA.
