Good times. We were leaned right back against the barrier between the crowd and mixing board the whole time. I learned a long time ago it’s gonna sound the best right next to the board. The guy mixing was teasing everybody with the setlist but a hot little cutie got it. I can’t say I wouldn’t have done the same thing.

Let's be honest, have Pearl Jam created a song since 1999 as good as Felicity's Surprise?

I think McCready will be the only one of the original 4 to write a memoir.
I also think there's a good chance Cameron writes one.
Possible titles for McCready's book:
Inside Job: The Mike McCready Story
Given To Point: The Life Story of Rock's Nice Guy
Last To Know: My Life in Pearl Jam

100% it will be titled "I'm Still Alive" or something similar

Mike already did his memoir
it’s a bunch of polaroids
that’s the extent of his literary capabilities

wish pearl jam would release some old videos of full shows. metallica have been releasing full live shows from all through their career every monday, and radiohead have been throwing up full shows also. pearl jam every now and again will throw up a random song from a show from 2014. oh, cmon. it's time for full shows.

PJ was not only ahead of the Covid curve cancelling the tour, Ed has been passing the bottle down the front row to be poured into individual cups for years.

I'm actually kind of surprised this hasn't happened. DMB was a bit late in getting to it but some of that time may have been due to getting set-up with the charities as each weekly broadcast has some merch to go along with it and the funds raised going directly to them. Of course it has turned in to an absolute bitch fest on the main DMB message board but that's a given.WtOB? wrote:wish pearl jam would release some old videos of full shows. metallica have been releasing full live shows from all through their career every monday, and radiohead have been throwing up full shows also. pearl jam every now and again will throw up a random song from a show from 2014. oh, cmon. it's time for full shows.

I am also surprised by this. They could probably raise a lot of money for their charities this way. There’s a ton of video out there even if they just used the feed from the screens. They could live stream the home shows and try to raise more money for homelessness. It almost makes too much sense.WtOB? wrote:wish pearl jam would release some old videos of full shows. metallica have been releasing full live shows from all through their career every monday, and radiohead have been throwing up full shows also. pearl jam every now and again will throw up a random song from a show from 2014. oh, cmon. it's time for full shows.

Re: Post Random Pearl Jam-Related Thoughts You Have
This diatribe leads directly into an unpopular Pearl Jam opinion...
So when I run I rely on my Spotify account to keep me going, but usually about once a week I mix it up and go on an exercise bike for 35-45 mins where I instead rely on Pearl Jam live videos (mostly because their songs tend to range from 2:45-5:00 which perfectly balances the lower tension/higher tension intervals I am doing). Anyways, today I was watching the fan made video of the Philly 2 2016 show, starting with Garden, then Deep, Release, Breakerfall, Corduroy...and then I heard Let the Records Play...which sounded GREAT. This song really came further alive in the live setting, cementing it as that song I love that everyone else hates.
Note: I have probably listened to this show 4 or 5 times and it is one of my go to bootlegs so there’s that.

it's the one song on LB that has guitars that sound like guitars
it makes no sense why they don't just jam out the end for a few minutes live
and the hatred for it is unusual
