Things don't appear to be looking great on the PPE front, overall

Doctors at Memorial City Medical Center in Houston who treat Covid-19 patients have been told to reuse single-use N95 respirator masks for up to 15 days before throwing them out.

If you're looking for positive news. All our new cases in over a month have been people returning from overseas and are all being managed in isolation.....except for the guy who made a run for it yesterday

Yeah I'm very glad not to have a child right now in a state that's reopening because I don't know what we'd do.

blueviper, my parents (65/63) are still going to Catholic mass and taking communion, no matter how many times we tell them not to. Insane.

I work IT for a municipality and police dept. there’s no bubble for me

My daughter’s school has been zoom but now it looks like they are opening in fall. She s worried and wants to do online high school to avoid the crowd. Schools keep saying they are going to open but as it gets closer I doubt it will happen.

There were zero active cases in our county the last two weeks of the shutdown in late April. We now have 330+ active cases. The county population is around 180,000.

TN posted it’s highest numbers yet yesterday. While the governor tries to figure out how to start schools on time and still have all sports going strong.

The county I’m from (the one just south of where we live now) has announced it is still having the county fair at the end of Aug/early Sept. Every other surrounding county has cancelled theirs. It’s just baffling.
