I'm glad the 3500 people who died of COVID-19 this week didn't have to live to see this.

I do find it interesting he didn't outright pardon him.

I heard a commentator say that Stone did want a pardon because that would have implied guilt.

Also, from what I understand, when you're pardoned, you cannot plead the 5th in regards to the crimes you were pardoned for. So if Stone were ever called as a witness after a pardon (say, after Trump left office in a case against Trump), he could be held in contempt if he held anything back. With clemency, he can continue to maintain his innocence.

So if Joe Biden is elected one of the first things he should do is pardon Roger Stone I guess? Does the person have to actually accept a presidential pardon? Because if not, that would be a pretty baller move.

EDIT: Nevermind, a quick google search shows that federal pardons do indeed have to be accepted by the person it's being granted to.
I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd.

In other news, "I'm tough on Russia, but if they want Afghanistan (lile Syria), enjoy yourself!"

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... ck-russia/

Also, side thought, if he stopped the attack in 2018 and lost bigly, maybe that's evidence of something with the Russians previously happening in his favor. Maybe?

Without comment:

“the greatest base in the history of politics. . . . Have you been watching the boats in Florida, all over the country? Thousands of boats every weekend. They have thousands of boats, and cycles, you know the bikers for Trump? They had a line last week, it went miles long, bikers for Trump, and they have the flags and the whole thing.”

The boater obsession is only going to stop being funny when one of them tries to run over a water-based protest.

I love how he invites the Ukraine conversation to show he's tough on Russia, but then doesn't see how he extorted them with the Biden investigation BS.
