Its so good yeah. I wonder if there are more songs from that session. Was that some kind of radio thing? they did something like that in Argentina inn 1998 when they came.

'Tear' is probably my most-revisited Adore track. That or 'Ava'.

Yeah, thats a good one. I think Shame is my favorite from that album, besides both singles. But For Martha might be the best song. Its so fucking good.

So what's the story with the Zwan breakup? I went down a rabbit hole the other night trying to find the answer and all I could find was Billy was an asshole and maybe drug stuff.

yeah, he said there was some stuff going on with Pajo and Paz maybe? Not sure. Pajo seems like a very difficult character too. I remember that insta pic he took after he tried to kill himself...so fucking weird.

All I've read about that makes Billy sound like a weird antisocial prude, which I have no trouble believing. "omg sEx AcTs BeTwEeN bAnD mEmBeRs!!!"

Shame is probably my least fav. Martha is huge, but Blank Page overshadows it as a vocal performance.

Blank Page is a good one yeah. Behold The Nightmare too but there is a sentiment in For Martha that makes it special. And i looooove that solo

Very similar sound to Shiny and Oh So Bright album. I like it as well.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

yeah, there is a similarity in sound with the last album. But also feels like a more poppy synth Adore. And sounds pretty awesome.

I have a feeling this will be like the last PJ album. I'll make hyperbolic statements like "it's the best they've been in years" be very excited about it for 48 hours and then never feel the need to listen to it ever again.

well shit, i kinda like this. the other song, not as much. still can't believe - but not surprised - that you have jimmy and james in the band and this is the direction the 'band' is going. the adore tracks played live were pretty good, though, so maybe there's some hope that they can put their fingerprints on these songs in that setting, someday. cyr is a pretty catchy little number, though.
ah, copperplate, a font for the truly modern man.
