I watched the first season a while back, and while I thought it was very good, I didn't stick with it. Picking back up the second season, it's remarkable, and if the third season stays as good as it's been through the end (which I've heard pretty much universally that it does), it's going to be one of the finest seasons of television I've ever seen. It's striking how different the show nearing its conclusion is from its start.Monkey_Driven wrote:The Leftovers is one of the best shows of the past 10 years.
Though I knew it was critically-acclaimed, I also didn't know how acclaimed it was. As you said, a lot of lists have this as one of the finest (if not the finest) shows of the past decade. In terms of dramas, I'd argue The Americans is #1, but this is certainly up there.
