This is true, no doubt, in most cases...

What we are considering is three families grouping together and each of the parents assumes the role of in-house teacher for one day a week.

... but if it comes to it, this is what we're doing too. And we're extra lucky, because one of the neighbors in the group is a nurse who works 3 long night shifts a week, but 2 are on weekends, so she's basically offered to do most of it.

think about young people and how social and horny they are. think about people who live alone and just want to have a conversation with someone in the same room. i agree it's a stupid and unnecessary risk, but if you put yourself in different shoes, you can understand it a bit more.

it's the same reason you see seemingly intelligent friends posting pictures of themselves on summer holiday with a large family group wearing no masks. they can't imagine not going up to the family cabin over the summer and seeing everyone, even though they know there's a virus and it's real.

which is why i'm all for hardass lockdowns, etc. people can't be trusted to use their brains before their hearts, so restrictions need to be over the top where folks can't even have those scenarios as options.

Im fine with it if you know and trust the circle of people you are around. I know my family is taking it seriously and mostly staying home and when venturing out wearing a mask. Wearing a mask out in public makes most sense to me because i dont know those people or trust that they have taken it as seriously as me.
