Dev is definitely going to tell you to stretchwashing machine wrote:Knees are giving me small trouble since I've started back up a couple of weeks ago. Twingy discomfort on the inner side of my joints, particularly the right knee. Like I need to "pop" the joints but can't. May take an extra day to rest. Probably just old, out of shape, and in need of stretching.

I watched one of these tooverb_to_trust wrote:I watched this IG stream Goggins did with the trainer he's working with last night. He's recovering from a knee injury. The trainer guy said he did an MRI on his knees and they were trashed, that he's seen 72 year olds with better knees. Goggins was running on the treadmill and talking about what he was doing to still run like he always has but...I think the dude might be broken.

I think this review rules me out:verb_to_trust wrote:https://www.adidas.com/us/adizero-boston-9-shoes/EG4671.html
REALLY LIKE THE SHOE, GREAT FOR FASTER RUNS, WOULD PROBABLY NOT REALLY USE IT FOR LONG RUNS OR SLOWER PACES, BUT FAST PACE IT’S GREAT.

Re: The Running Thread
That review is dumb. Bostons are great for any distance. And pace has nothing to do with anything.Bammer wrote:I think this review rules me out:verb_to_trust wrote:https://www.adidas.com/us/adizero-boston-9-shoes/EG4671.html

I love my Bostons. Just gazing at them from across the room makes me want to put them on and run.

Don't cheap out on them, ever. Best bet to save money is to buy last year's model on a discount. Boston 7 hasn't been "new" for a few years but is a great shoe. 59 bucks right now on Marathon sports for a size 10

Re: The Running Thread
You need to buy a respectable model. So with nike you could get something like the pegasus, just a few years old. Those will be cheap instead of over $100 for the latest peg
