I don't think there's even one Strava segment in my neighborhood. I just added three.

Now my lower back is experiencing some moderate pain. Could be sitting on the floor with the baby, holding the baby, etc all while running on sore-ish knees. Definitely going to incorporate more walking into my runs for a bit while my body catches up. First time I'm really feeling my age.

That's what I have been doing now. I had a tad more distance per run when I has a better routine. Not by much though, and I worked up to it in a more disciplined way.

I use a Chinese fitness band from the bargain bin of Amazon. The battery life is unrivaled and it's got GPS. Works for me.

i had some cheap one (from India, I think) that i read was one of the better bang for your bucks...i didn't like it and bit the bullet for an apple watch, i've had it less than a month and adore it...a few of us from work share workout activities and other information, so it's good for motivation and accountability

Yeah that's what I keep hearing when I read/watch phone tech reviews.

I've been very happy with this band. Especially for the price. The reviews on Amazon don't look too good, but whatever. The band works well for what I need it to do. Only thing I would change about it is that you can't seem to use multiple functions at the same time. If I want to log a run, I can't also remotely control my music. If I want to use the timer when I'm doing planks, I can't also use the work out logging function. If those things are important to you, spend more than $30 on a fitness band.
