I read somewhere that they need to open in theatres to be legally allowed to do the digital release.

I don't understand why Disney+ is hodgepodging this list? You can't even say this is "the good ones" b/c it's missing First Class and Logan (which admittedly, may never end up on Disney+).

X-Men
X2

X-Men: The Last Stand
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
X-Men: First Class

The Wolverine
X-Men: Days of Future Past
X-Men: Apocalypse

Logan
Dark Phoenix
The New Mutants
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I think it has to do with the existing streaming contracts Fox had before the sale. I'm pretty sure I read someone else (HBO?) had the rights to New Mutants for a bit before it could go to Disney+.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

I rented the New Mutants yesterday and it wasn't nearly so bad as I thought it was going to be( I'd put it above Dark Phoenix). I've never been a fan of the Demon Bear story line but it worked well as a way to introduce each mutant and what made them tick. The worst part was probably the villain (as usual) and the ease with which it ended
Spoiler: show
stop! no! good doggy demon bear

Making Dani and Rahne fall in love was okay because they really needed to care about each other fairly fast for the ending to work.
The highlight was Magik and Lockheed, the actress surprised me by doing her justice. (She seems to be popping up everywhere these days)
I kinda wish they'd continue and do the sequel.
