I really like Howard. He's a good guy and he doesn't deserve the shit Jimmy puts him through.

I think what you see is what you get with them: They're interested in their careers, they generally hold themselves to a high code of conduct, and take it for granted that others should too. Their paths through life have been somewhat charmed, and can't really imagine what life is like for those with more difficult paths.
He's a perfect foil for Jimmy because they're like yin-and-yang. Howard represents everything Jimmy has rebelled against since he was a kid, and Jimmy represents the class of people that Howard imagines he is rescuing daily with his upright citizenship and token good deeds.

The unfortunate aspect of losing Chuck is that we've been spending a lot less time with Howard

Hanna S2
I like the new characters but it seems like a retread of the S1 plot.

Yes. S2 was ok. If they do a season 3 continuing the story from the end of season 2, it could get interestingVinylGuy wrote:which is a retread of a movie right?Bi_3 wrote:Hanna S2

yeah i generally agree with all that though sometimes i'm not sure his motives are that pure...i think i moreso was thinking i'm not sure if i like him or not, which is fine as i don't feel the need to decide one way or the other...it definitely makes him an interesting characterJorge wrote:100%tragabigzanda wrote:I love the Howard character because he feels so real; I've met so many people just like him.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:great so far...i feel bad for NachoJorge wrote:How did you like them?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:finally getting to better call saul season 4...watched the first five episodes today

Re: What are you currently watching on TV?
Watching The Last Dance; it's pretty great, with the found footage of the Bulls '97-98 season being a gold mine at points. A few episodes in, it's hard to shake that this feels very much like the Michael Jordan-authorized version of the story, but I hear that's not necessarily the case throughout. Late '90s, early 2000s NBA is really the period I was most into sports at all, so it's been a bit of a nostalgia trip.
