I don't know the Wall of Flowers record! I'll see if I can find it. Trying to keep up with Watt's projects is maddening.
Its on Spotify.
Yeah, i relaxed with following him and what he was doing because its impossible. I recently saw he was playing stuff with Porno For Pyros so that might happen soon.

I love E Ticket Ride, but i agree with the back half.
Do we know who is the guys Kathleen was talking about?
It’s been debunked as a joke, you can find that on the internet somewhere. But I’m sure Dando, and probably a great others, would fit the bill
really? I read somewhere that it was true. Yeah, Dando could fit.
I've been listening to Jeff Tweedy's reading of the Minutemen chapter in the Our Band Could Be Your Life audiobook.
I've heard the story of Watt learning about tuning before, but it always cracks me up. Essentially he insists that before he learned about guitar/bass anatomy, he thought tight or loose strings was a preference.
There's another story about him cruising up and down a Hollywood Boulevard seeing man-whores soliciting and thinking they were just dudes looking for rides or jobs.
Mike Watt was/is a charmingly naive guy.

I don't know how it took me this long to find it, but the man himself has a podcast. It's exactly what I expected it to be, which is to say that it's probably a lot like just hanging out with Mike Watt.
Trag, I need you to listen and confirm.

I had Buzz or Howl Under the Influence of Heat playing on the commute this morning. A good set of the Minutemen's more frenzied tunes.
I also heard a Mike Watt quote recently that I really like. "Now records are considered documents, but we didn't know it at the time. We thought we were just making flyers."
