For a compilation that shouldn't be taken too seriously (hence the artwork
), I have spent a stupid amount of time on this, on and off over the past few years. Given the different eras and vocal styles across these tracks, it has been challenge to get it to flow well and sound somewhat cohesive. I've agonised over the sequencing, and WCT has done a brilliant job with the mastering (as usual), so I hope you find it an enjoyable listen. All tracks except for 'Chinese' come from high quality (though sometimes lossy) digital or vinyl rip sources (detailed source info below).
It should be noted that 'Falling Down', 'Angel', 'Santa Cruz' and 'Someday At Christmas' are sourced from the digital FLAC singles recently made available.
I'll be updating the Complete Holiday Singles set with these and other new digital FLAC sources very soon so be sure to re-download that set too.
