Eddie Vedder - Flag Day Soundtrack

Post by joostone »

Seems like Eddie and Sean Penn have a new project coming up!!

https://www.pearljamonline.it/en/eddie- ... oundtrack/
The first recordings took place on last october in Los Angeles, with Glen Hansard. After few months, Pearl Jam singer spent two weeks in studio, where he was joined by Cat Power. The recordings were completed in these latest months during the lockdown in his own studio in Seattle.

Already completely filmed and in post-production phase at the moment – according to Eddie Vedder’s words – the movie will be wonderful and it will see the partecipation of Sean Penn’s son, Hooper.

Not only! Eddie also revealed to be involved in a collaboration with a very important name, but he prefered not to say more. Betting is open!

Looking forward to this....i adore the Into the Wild soundtrack.

Sounds like Ed collaborates on one of the songs with someone major but he wasn't willing to spill the beans on who yet.

Glen and Cat Power are featured in some form. The movie looks pretty cool too. And yes, it seems there is a bigger collaboration there unnamed.

For some reason the big name will be an unexpected name. Not a legend like springsteen or townshend. No, if I have to guess 'Lana Del Rey'.

A Lana Del Rey / Eddie Vedder colab would probably break my brain and destroy me for good. But, like, in the best possible way.

It's really not that far off. I follow Cat Power on Instagram and she and Lana Del Rey seems to be close friends.
