Supposed to hit us in the overnight hours. Gonna be a long night. Guess we're sleeping downstairs in case any trees fall

Current situation. Power flickering. Watched neighbor's basketball hoop (on its side) blow across their lawn and driveway.

No power
At least one tree down in our front yard, but missed the house.

This is the first one in a couple of years where we didn't leave town because it was projected to just be a TS, but it hit us as a Cat 1. Fuck this shit.

Do you have shutters?

I know that they're not going to help a tree on your roof , I'm asking for other windy reasons

Did you go through all the prep steps? Haha-- can opener , fill the tub with water, charge everything , fill gas tank, generator, buy batteries , fill drinking containers, bring in gnomes, hammocks, and other garden missiles etc

Cell towers are down because of power. I have to drive places to get signal. I'm just starting to get signal at home again. I hope you are happy, trag
