Agreed with the above. Those were my first 2 outdoor shows and it made for a great night. Of the Earth from Dublin is very nice as well.Kevin Davis wrote:The setlists in Europe were kind of a snooze, but they were playing very well. Hyde Park and Berlin are both pretty solid shows.

Hyde park is a fantastic show, and the boots sounded much better in europe.

Re: Let's Talk About the 2010 Tour
Me and my girlfriend traveled down to Columbus, OH for the show at the Nationwide Center, for our money, this was a really solid show.
They came out strong with Oceans, then things got a little funny with Ed's vocals with songs lie WWS, GTF, Marker in the Sand, Got Some (they sounded extremely flat and down tuned). After those songs, things really picked up again - we got songs like Alone, Once, Spin the Black Circle, Hail Hail and others.
They put together a really good setlist for the Columbus show.
It was a fun time at the concert; in the beer line, two couples started fighting in front of me, and the I saw an undercover cop was standing in the line broke up the fight (cuffed the couples).
That was one of the funniest moments ever for me at a PJ concert. Great show!

This was a little better than 2009. It's a shame the bootlegs sucked because I really enjoyed the Boston show.

I just listened to the 2010 European leg. What a dud of a leg. Probably one of the single weakest legs that they've ever done.

I have zero recollection of MSG in 2010 aside from the fact I think, I went to the show without the Donkey Kong Poster. I do recall doing the Prudential Center show though.

Went to KC and StL on this tour, and recently revisited those shows on bootlegs. They were way, way better than I remember them being.

Same. The KC show in particular was quite strong.mkay0 wrote:Went to KC and StL on this tour, and recently revisited those shows on bootlegs. They were way, way better than I remember them being.

I've never heard the KC show but I was at St. Louis and loved it -- was so excited to hear "Pilate."
In general I find myself listening back to the 2010 shows more often than their recording quality deserves.

Ha, I remember getting pretty excited when they started playing Pilate. No one else around me made a peep.Kevin Davis wrote:I've never heard the KC show but I was at St. Louis and loved it -- was so excited to hear "Pilate."

There were a handful of standbys at that show too that had always managed to elude me that I was really excited to hear -- "Sometimes," "Glorified G," "Not For You," "Garden," etc.Monkey_Driven wrote:Ha, I remember getting pretty excited when they started playing Pilate. That tour was really my last hurrah as a committed follower of all things live PJ. Listening back to it I still feel the excitement of setlist-watching, bootleg-buying, etc., hobbies that have largely fallen off my radar in the last 10 years.

You'll always have the remixed version of The Fixer from Boston 2010 on Live On Ten Legscutuphalfdead wrote:This was a little better than 2009. It's a shame the bootlegs sucked because I really enjoyed the Boston show.

Listened to the US Tour. Such an improvement over the Euro shows.

Re: Let's Talk About the 2010 Tour
I went to both MSG shows and hemmed and hawed over the Newark show for weeks, but didn’t go. I wouldn’t see them again until 2013 and the Lightning Bolt tour at Barclays Center. Also the last time I saw them on multiple shows in the same tour. That ship has unfortunately sailed.
