Last I checked, the Federal Reserve still exists, and is so powerful it even lends to other countries' central banks during crises
and the U.S. still has nuclear weapons stationed throughout the world on bases in other people's countries
and now we can throw on the pile too: Big Tech
so, I don't really see an argument about its influence abating until it is either no longer the lender of last resort to the developed world or no longer protecting half of it from Russian and Chinese aggression or no longer the primary engine for tech innovation on this planet
the rest is just cosmetic fluff
