While listening to this, it seems like it should of been the logical extension after the second album. Fantastic stuff, I considered them dead after the prior two albums. Swag all over this.

Yeah, it's fantastic. Definitely the highlight of the songs we hadn't heard until today.

A fine example of how polished production can make an album sound beautiful and not kill it.

'Comeback Story' would probably make me blub like a baby if I saw it live.

But the chord structure reminds of something... can't remember what it is, arg.

The "doodle-dee-dum, doodle-dee-dum" rhythm of "Beautiful War" is kind of like a military snare rhythm. That's pretty cool.

The only song on here that's a bit average is 'Tonight'. Everything else is 3.5-5 stars to me.

I love how this band (similar to the likes of Pearl Jam and U2) can write songs that make you feel happy and sad at the same time.

"Coming Back Again" sounds like vintage U2.

I'm just a sucker for their sound. Caleb's voice, the bass, the country twangy guitar. There are hits and misses, and some of the lyrics are wtf stupid, but I like a lot of the songs on the first listen. Reminds me of the beach at night, but most of my beach experience comes from the Redneck Riviera, so YMMV.

There's a definite beautiful, vast expanse to it.

I love the irony between the beautiful balladry of 'Comeback Story' and its lyrics. I thought it was going to bother me that the chorus borrows from a joke, but it doesn't.
