Hello all. This is one of my work tapes from the writing sessions for what would become the VS album. I had set up a few mics and was wearing headphones so that I could hear what we were doing and so I could take the rehearsals home and study on what I/we were doing. This took place in the basement rehearsal room we had then, at the Galleria Potatohead in Seattle.
Nice find. David Abbruzzese

This reminded me of Ed saying in an interview - maybe PJ20 book - about a notebook of his getting stolen. He said it had a bunch of lyrics in it. Pretty sure it was Vs./Vitalogy era tours that it was stolen. That was a pretty fertile songwriting period for him. Would’ve been interesting to hear those sketches get fleshed out.

Yes, that's Dave's account.
Who is he trying to fool?
He sold his tape collection to some asshole who is leaking songs out one at a time on youtube.

"Nice find", my ass.
I was under the impression that the tapes were not sold by Dave A. But by someone elso who was in possession of his tape collection.
Atleast that's what I always thought.

It was my understanding back when the auction happened that Dave was directly responsible, but I could be wrong.

I'd like to know for sure either way.
Ok, lets ask Dave
And while we're at it. Let's also ask him about those Vs instrumental and 'I Wont' haha
If I remember correctly (I may not), Dave had some of his Pearl Jam-related belongings in a rented storage locker, the contents of which were repossessed and sold because he didn't keep up payments.

That makes perfect sense.
I missed this fact somehow. Thought Dave was just unloading stuff.

I’m waiting on ‘Owner of a Lonely Heart’ so I can finally finish my version of Ten Deluxe.

We should start a petition for PJ releasing stuff like this. It's probably quicker than waiting on this guy...
