Really gross.
Agreed. When mods edit someone's post, they should sign their name, otherwise they're like an occupying force here to victimize the citizenry of RM.

Relax. No content was changed and our tampering was noted.

I think there are people waiting to pass judgement until more facts are available.

Does it matter if he was holding a knife or reaching for a gun? Can we wait for the facts to come out before we burn down another city?

Maybe their rallying cry can be "Do you want the carrot... or the stick?"

I can't imagine any new facts that could justify what happened. It was a defenseless act.

Seven bullets. What more facts do you need? I dont mean to be snarky but seriously. How is that justified? Seven Bullets to the back. Seven

What if Blake was one of the santanic baby-eaters secretly running our government?

I was pointing out there is a distinction between defending and not condemning until after an investigation is conducted. At least there used to be.

In that case the cop still shouldn't have shot him in that car.

He should have done it in a pizza parlor.

what other facts do you need? Reaching a knife? so those cops cant hold him down? they needed to shoot him 7 times in the back?

Its super weird to read people defending this type of police brutality. Really weird and confusing.

Police are trained to shoot until the threat ceases. If Blake was reaching for a gun in the car, maybe seven shots is what it took for him to stop reaching for it. I agree that it looks bad, and I'm not saying the shooting was justified, but can we let the justice system work and resist the urge to immediately convict based on thirty seconds of vertical video?

You're not a jury. You don't have the power to convict anybody. That doesn't mean you have to ignore common sense and twist yourself into a pretzel to always give the police officer the benefit of the doubt over the person who's been shot.

He had already fought with the police. They attempted to use a taser and it failed to subdue him. This is a guy who had an active warrant for sexual assault and domestic abuse. The police were only there in the first place because he was somewhere he wasn't supposed to be acting like an asshole. It's super weird to read people defending these types of criminals.

Common sense dictates remaining calm and letting the process work, but looting and burning is just so much fun.

He was causing trouble? fine, arrest him. They shot him. seven times. On his fucking back. There is absolutely no excuse for that.
