Maybe the best thing is to wait until more information is available and not rely on twitter.

Those people need to do some serious soul searching.

What if ... now, what if ... they just didn't shoot him and arrested him later. Was he spraying bullets? Running away with stolen property? Kidnapping someone?

I mean, we're back to how do these things start?

Police come out to tell a guy to leave his ex-wife's house b/c he's not supposed to be there.

[5 minutes]

Police are mowing down a man in the street.

I'm not saying every situation can be de-escalated by police, but their record with black suspects is particularly shitty.

Eric Garner sold loose cigarettes, so he was choked to death.
George Floyd used a counterfiet bill, so he was choked to death.
Dajerria Bector was at a loud pool party, so she was slammed on the ground.
Breonna Davis once dated a drug dealer, so she was gunned down in her own bed.
Philandro Castile was pulled over for a routine traffic stop, so he was shot in front of his girlfriend and kid.

No. Fucking NO!

Fuck this, Jacob Blake had a knife bullshit. Maybe he did. Maybe he even tried to fight them.
The police were called to deal with trespassing and paralyzed a man with seven gunshots in front of his kids to KEEP him from leaving. Why the fuck do you think people want the cops to be replaced with social workers?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I guess its a very old one right? some people want to live in this world, others dont. Put me in the second list.
What should they have done, waited to be stabbed and/or shot by a non-compliant suspect?
Obviously there are more options than this and you're continuing your delightful pattern of being a bad-faith interrogator, but ultimately yes, that's exactly what they should have done. What is the point of all this blue lives matta/thin blue line nonsense if it isn't predicated on cops actually risking death to maintain order and not firing anytime they're scared.

Also, we should just note that the dude most forcefully arguing that Blake had it coming in here is the same dude posting snuff porn memes in here--honestly one of the most disgusting posts I've ever seen on any platform.

Maybe they should switch to a training program that could teach THREE officers to subdue ONE man. Everyone else would get in trouble if their complete incompetence directly killed someone. If a man walking away to potentially grab a knife is so scary for those 3 cops that they have to skip ahead to the last resort, they don't belong in that situation.

Let's try the "reimagined policing" model in a major American city. Violent crime will skyrocket and you'll have a bunch of dead social workers, but hopefully we'll finally be able to put that stupid concept to bed.

His "victims" attempted to use deadly force against him. He fought back and won. I find that kind of justice satisfying, but I understand if you don't.

Chronology of the Kenosha shooting:
This dude is walking on anything murder or manslaughter adjacent. I'm sure they can find something creative to get him on, however. If he wanted to murk protesters, he had plenty of opportunity prior to being chased around and stomped.

Based on proximity to the first incident, I wonder if Mr. Paramedic hat was the unidentified individual firing into the air to help calm things down, of course.

No one's talking about Cop Kyle, we're talking about your posts where images of someone being shot and killed are used for some meme chuckles. As Orph said, that's pretty sick behavior (even detaching them from the gross politics they're underpinning). This isn't the first time it's happened in this thread either. I'm not one to advocate for a banning but I think snuff porn deserves a vacation.
