I mean, you actually never have to correct anything, Burt. It's a choice.
God I wish that were true.
Your ego is a little unhealthy, burt.
Ego is what it's all about, my boy.
It is, by all measures, the best way to mask insecurities.

That's weird because I've never felt more secure in who I am than the last couple of years. Still haven't fully formulated my worldview yet, but I feel like I'm getting close.

Of course it's all built on sand probably, but that's life.

we know of the 3 that got shot. Was that everyone chasing after him? Looked like more than 3 to me, but I feel it better to ignore this strawman.
simple schoolboy wrote:Are these protests disproportionately populated by justice-involved individuals?
again, 3 people, and the kid who shot them was illegally carrying that rifle at the time. This is a strawman and should be dropped now.

It would also be nice if sheriffs took the same approach to protesters and property as they did bison:

"A herd of bison broke down the gate at a feedlot in Nebraska and have been running wild ever since. Five of the 125 animals have already been hit and killed by vehicles and a sixth was shot, the Omaha World-Herald reported. The owner has been scrambling to corral the animals and has hired a Kansas company to come in and wrangle them. Phelps County Sheriff Gene Samuelson is urging residents and farm owners to leave the bison alone. “Let this company do what they were hired to do. They will not need any assistance, so please refrain from forming search parties and taking any action,” he said."
Its not all clear he was carrying illegally. As a minor he can't carry dangerous weapons such as ninja stars, but if I understand it 16 year olds can open carry rifles in Wisconsin.

I believe only 1 other individual made contact with him, and I'm unsure if they have been identified.
"Kenosha Police Chief Daniel Miskinis confirmed to reporters Wednesday that you have to be 18 to open carry in the state of Wisconsin."
There's an exemption for 16-18 year olds for long guns only, apparently intended for hunting purposes but its not clear that its limited to those activities. I'll edit this post to add the relevant portion of Wisconsin statutes when I find it again.
don't bother.
Too late, it is done.

Yes. You really do. You dont stop hammering on about antifa and how its totally normal and find to be armed to the teeth in case someone comes and threatens you.

Burt, you are fucking terrified of living right now. that much is clear.

That’s a shame, because a degree of insecurity is a natural, universal, and healthy part of the human condition, and isn’t unhealthy as long as it isn’t denied or exacerbated.

Lol man look, I'll just agree with you about me. I'm the worst possible person. Everything I believe in is pure evil, and rooted in irrational fear. I am a terrified monster scared of ghosts.

You don't have to psychoanalyze me anymore. I agree with you 100% about me.

Now that it's settled and you have won your argument about who I am, can we please stick to the topics?

Let's just stick to what I'm saying from now on, and not why I'm REALLY saying it, ok?

Edited down from "a few years" to "a couple years"... did you think it would be too apparent that Trump's dog whistle has helped your ego security development?

I dont know you as a person. I know you as a poster. As a poster you are terrified and/or this is your gimmick and the fight you have committed to. Whatever.

As a person I know you as a fantastic artist. Thats it. Thats where that ends. Im not going to pretend to actually know you any more than that.

Okay?

Would it be best if we didnt communicate?

No wait, let me go back. You can still tell me why I'm REALLY saying something. That's fine. But also occasionally say something about what I'm actually saying as well (cuz I'm gonna psychoanalyze the fuck out of you too).

Thank you for your consideration.

Trump's election was actually pretty transformative, as it seems to have been for many here, not gonna lie. It really opened my eyes to a lot of things.
