It's about Andy Wood, and how close they were and how he thinks about how Andy would have loved to play whatever venue they might be playing in.Thejambi wrote:I had that Interpretation from the start.harmless wrote:Guys, let's be honest: given the album's context so far, 'Future Days' is far more likely to be about Ed's kid than his wife.

I originally thought LB (the song) was about his daughter(s) after hearing at Wrigley, but now likely about a generic temptress/Siren.

I've listened to the first 30 seconds of Lightning Bolt and I'd be shocked if this is exactly the same as what comes out with the album.

I think it's just the crappy leak quality. It will hopefully sound crisper/cleaner in final release format.

My thoughts, after the first listen of the four. Liked Swallowed Whole the most, liked Getaway too. Those two seemed to represent a newer sound for the band. LTRP just didnt do it for me, although I liked the music, the lyrics were blah. Lightning Bolt was just ok, a second Unthought Known to me.

I truly don't get the unthought known and LB comparisons.

I just posted this in the song thread. I don't get it either, muted guitar intros aside.pnjguy wrote:I truly don't get the unthought known and LB comparisons.

I wish Ed was a little more reserved in Getaway, could have been right in the middle of Binaural. Still a good song.

Yeah. LB is uptempo and UK is mid-tempo. Both are pretty bland.guitar_davey wrote:I just posted this in the song thread. I don't get it either, muted guitar intros aside.pnjguy wrote:I truly don't get the unthought known and LB comparisons.
