In the end, this dude outbid everyone for a substantital sum.

People were excited that a fan bought it, but that soon turned to disappointment when he turned out to be a douche who just wanted the attention.

I don't believe this was the case exactly.

While Go is one of my top two songs, I wouldn't call this a gem. Fun to hear, but the more I hear demo stuff like this, the less I want "everything" out there. Give me some more polished, unreleased songs, but I can do without instrumental demos of every song. I know, that is a cranky post, but idgaf

but i like this groovy version

and the guitar solo variation is enjoyable

the drum solo at the end is interesting

this must have been a later-stage demo bc the structure and themes in the song are pretty similar to the finished song, except for the end

I dig listening to some of this material because you get to be part of the creative experience, the story of how it became.
Kind of like watching the cut scenes in movies.

I know some don't like this at all.
