Heat Twitter is really all-in on a Heat victory in this series. I'll say Bucks in 6. Miami wins one of the first two semi-comfortably, squeaks out a second victory, and the Bucks win by 25 in game 6.

I'd say Bucks in 6 or 7. I haven't really watched either team in a last two weeks, so it's tough to say for certain.4/5 wrote:Heat Twitter is really all-in on a Heat victory in this series. The Heat looked pretty good against an injured Pacers teams that lacked a star and can't shoot from 3. I watched all 4 games but I don't think they'll apply very well to this series. The Bucks are susceptible to three pointers which is obviously a Heat strength, so I think Miami has at least a puncher's chance. That said Giannis is unstoppable. Hopefully Bam has the series of his life making life difficult for Giannis. Idk. Based on the regular season I'm confident Miami can bother the Bucks, but they're definitely the better team so...Monkey_Driven wrote:I'd say Bucks in 6 or 7. Re: NBA Thread
Heat seem like the classic high floor, low ceiling team. I'm not confident they can punch through to the conference finals. Bucks have the experience and Giannis seems like a man on a mission.4/5 wrote:The Heat looked pretty good against an injured Pacers teams that lacked a star and can't shoot from 3. ESPN poll has a majority picking Miami. Now I think it might be a sweep.

Still think my actual prediction is probably right, though. Hope not.

Do or die games never ceases to be fun. Game 7 for both of the two most interesting first round series.

Re: NBA Thread
So who are the Clippers and Lakers rooting for? I don't think it matters much in either case, but probably Denver and OKC? Denver can't play defense whatsoever and while OKC can probably keep every game competitive they don't have anybody that strikes fear into you.Monkey_Driven wrote:Do or die games never ceases to be fun. The idiotic technical for punching the air was cancelled out by the no call on Kemba's travelling step back. The basketball gods correct all.

We're so spoiled for good teams. I wish this type of experience for everyone, but not until I'm done being a fan.

Yeah as much as I hate everything Boston that call was horrendous. He punched the air, wasn't looking at the ref, didn't appear to say anything. Just awful.Monkey_Driven wrote:The idiotic technical for punching the air was cancelled out by the no call on Kemba's travelling step back. The basketball gods correct all.

Re: NBA Thread
They should start giving Ts to guys who complain to the refs instead of going back on defense instead. That would be a good rule change.4/5 wrote:Yeah as much as I hate everything Boston that call was horrendous. He punched the air, wasn't looking at the ref, didn't appear to say anything. Both of those "fouls" were complete BS.
