It needs checkpoints. I can get to the things with the beaks that stick into the walls. It’s 10 minutes of doing the same shit every time and then sometimes dying immediately when I get to the part I’m struggling with.

It's like the closest thing Mario has to Dark Souls. It's like a Chud of Ice and Fire in 3D.

That extra level in Super Mario 3D World on WiiU is the hardest level across all Marios. That's the only one that I never beat. I beat the Odyssey one post-patch (no exploit). It was hard but fair.

Now I'm trying to remember that level. I want the port to come out for the Switch just so I don't have to drag out the Wii U.

That does look familiar. I'm pretty sure I beat it, but I would have to check.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will be an enhanced version of Super Mario 3D World, and launches for Nintendo Switch on Feb. 12, 2021.
