Yes. It's the wallpaper on my phone.
Mine's charging or I'd get you to send it to me. CHUD would be OK with that right?

There's a more recent picture of me in drag that I've yet to share with RM.

Looking forward to a rest day after going to the gym the last three. I'm a little sore from my calves to my shoulders but that's a good thing, right?

10 miles in 69 minutes

Up at 4:30 out the door at 5. 35 out. 34 back with a quarter-mile finishing kick. Feel like I'm in a decent groove these days. Legs are surprisingly strong considering it's only September. Once I drop some more weight, I'll be ready to race again.
I've decided to take a shot at the 24-hour national team at a New Year's Eve race here in PHX. 135 miles is the standard. I'll drop the speed and focus on mileage from this point forward.

15 miles in 2:13 with ~1,600 feet in elevation change

Couldn't sleep. Out the door at 3:30. At the trailhead at 4:00. Kinda busted ass so I could do a double and be home in time to get the kids ready for school. Wore my stupid fucking headlamp, which bugged the shit out of me. On the second half of the first looped I saw a pack of Javelina scurry across the trail. I ditched the headlamp in a bush at the trailhead on the start of the second loop. First loop in 69 minutes. No surprise I almost ate shit a couple of times before the sun started to rise. Reached the saddle and took in the sunrise creeping across the Valley. It was a beautiful sight and I was stoked for the rest of the run. Put the hammer down and killed the second half. Got that floating feeling where I was thinking 3 steps ahead and just felt like I could run as fast as I like. Jumping boulders I would normally run around. Totally dialed in. Reached the trailhead and I was a little disappointed I couldn't do a third loop. Second loop in 64. 4 minutes off my double loop PR for this trail.

Running is god.

10 miles in 72 minutes

Up with my sick son all night. He wasn't really sleeping anyway, so I hit the canal with him in the running stroller at 2 in the morning. He was asleep in 10 minutes. Even split. More or less a recovery run. Mellow. I ended up just putting the running stroller in the living room and he slept in it until 7. On track to put in at least 70 miles this week. A decent "ramp-up" week.

13.1 miles in 87 minutes

Felt great this morning, so I decided to push it. 44 out. 43 back with a half-mile finishing kick. Canals were busy as fuck. A lot of snowbirds are already coming back, so I ended up dodging the elderly on their morning bike rides.

Saturday mornings are usually one of my best workouts of the week but this morning was a struggle for some reason. Treadmill was good though.

Survived the Run For Your Lives Zombie 5k with all three flags, like a fucking boss. Rick Grimes has nothing on me. The obstacles weren't hard but I did not appreciates the mud, water and being shocked like i was some sort of stray dog in the smoke house. Overall very fun though.

15 miles in 2:25 with ~1,600 feet in elevation change

Fucking disastrous night run at my favorite trail. Headlamp went dead a quarter of the way through my second loop. Instead of turning back toward the trailhead, I went on. After nearly stumbling off a cliff, I really had no choice but to slow down. First loop in 68. Second loop in 77. Heard a variety of creatures, including a pissed off rattler and pack of Javelina tearing some poor yelping animal to shreds. Time to buy a decent running headlamp instead of a cheap-ass Energizer one from Walmart.
