I didn't really know the Bridges album (although I saw the tour that promoted the album) until I heard it for the first time a few months ago. Enjoyed it very much!

Its one of my favs. I remember MTV premiering the Änybody Seen My Baby¨ video at the morning, and me being super upset because i had to go to college. Came back from school and tried to watch it.
And the release day, people were lined up to get the cd.

Great album.

Flip The Switch is such a cool song to start the album, especially like that one...

The ending of Bridges..is an all time classic for me. Two super cool, relaxed and chill Keith songs. Wayne Shorter at the end of it its the cherry on the top.

The Stones are really such a great band. I have to go back to Bridges. I wish that ticket stub was mine.

Finally sitting down with the deluxe Goats Head Soup. Goddamn I love this album. Still insisting here this is the most underrated Stones album. All three new tracks sound great (All the Rage, Criss Cross, and Scarlet). Getting soon to the Brussels Affair.

Agreed. And maybe it’s due to time away from them, but the Brussels Affair live release is the best I have heard yet from them. This is how to do a reissue.

HA!!! Not really.

The entire box set is heavily brickwalled and torture on the ears. Even the vinyl version is brickwalled!

"Brussels Affair" is not exclusive content. It was already released as a vault download 10 years ago and the sound quality was perfect. They added piles of reverb for this box set that wasn't on the original and ruined it.

As expected, the Giles Martin remix is nothing great and does little to improve the original album.

The unreleased songs are outstanding but there are only 3 of them.

This easily could have been a single CD (remixed album + some bonus tracks) in a digipack for $14.99.

Instead you have privledge of paying $89.99 for a bunch of redundant audio slop in a fancy box.

See what they did there?

Probably related to the reissue, but right now Goats HEad Soup might be my favorite stones record.

Its so...wild. The playing and production feels so abrasive and reckless at times.

It’s probably something like my 6th favorite? I’d have to place Exile on Main Street, Sticky Fingers, Let It Bleed, Beggar’s Banquet, and possibly Tattoo You ahead, not to mention Some Girls - but for me Goats Head Soup is in the conversation with the latter two on that list. It’s so good.

Sure, those are all the classics but there is something more interesting about this record. At least right now.

War on Drugs remix of Scarlet? Wtf is that? I refuse to actually press play on it. Love Scarlet. Hate War on Drugs.
