Even though my player's been in at the shop for repairs for the past couple of weeks.....

I got the Guided by Voices 10'' and the Damien Jurado 7'' from Record Store Day last Saturday. Really nothing else interesting in that whole lot for me. But these both look nice!

That is a nice sprawl of PJ. I hope they reissue Benaroya, I missed that one the first time around.Strat wrote:Behold! My pearl jam collection:

When they originally released Benaroya i had ordered a copy of the Vinyl. I was...22? 23? But i wasn't collecting records. I cancelled the order because i was stressed about spending the money on something that I wasn't even able to listen to.
Here we are years later and they are selling for $1,000+ on ebay.

I also had the chance to order it but didn't. I think they sold them for $40.Strat wrote:Story:surfndestroy wrote:That is a nice sprawl of PJ. I hope they reissue Benaroya, I missed that one the first time around.Strat wrote:Behold! My pearl jam collection:

Minus the album singles and Let's Play Two, that looks pretty identical to mine.....with a few double ups on albumsStrat wrote:Behold! My pearl jam collection:

Re: The Vinyl Thread: Still Listen On Wax, Don't Use The CD
The few things I’ve wanted so far I have not been able to snag.
Black Crowes - Lions, not available in Canada
The Who - Odds and Sods, sold out
Kenny Wayne Shepherd - Ledbetter Heights, delayed I think or not available in Canada.
October has Skid Row- Slave to the Grind that I’m hoping for.
Pulled the trigger on the Pink Floyd reissue of Delicate Sound of Thunder and the boxes version of it. That was the tour I saw Floyd on and a big Fan of Momentary Lapse of Reason.

Getting my U-Turn set up for the first time since moving and the belt keeps falling off the platter on the 33 1/3 setting. Requested a replacement but is there a macgyver esque fix I'm overlooking?

You probably just need a new "belt". I've thought many times if what is basically a thin rubber band thing gets just a little more stretched somehow through wear and tear it would stop working right.

I did that with Mike Tyson’s PunchOut after leaving it paused for 2.5 days. Worked great.

Do you have the Save You/Other Side vinyl single? I won it from the Ten club years ago and I don’t need it if you or some one wants it.Strat wrote:Behold! My pearl jam collection:
