If there's one thing this place loves - it's a good puntragabigzanda wrote:Sesame Street S39 E1. A laundry-themed episode. Solid pun combining socks and Socrates.

I almost gave up on the first episode because of how boring and clinical I found it but then it started getting more interesting and expressionistic in its storytelling and aesthetic from ep 2 onwards. Some really chilling moments thereRangi Guy wrote:Started watching this, could find the 2nd episode though, so have watched the first and third episodedoug rr wrote:HBO documentary The Vow....i'm a sucker for all things about how people get manipulated into cults..good stuff

Yeah - it was only at the end of episode 1 where I started to think this might have teeth.Jorge wrote:I almost gave up on the first episode because of how boring and clinical I found it but then it started getting more interesting and expressionistic in its storytelling and aesthetic from ep 2 onwards. That whole bit about the branding and everything leading up to was quite chilling - especially hearing 'But then Lauren explains it, and it's a little less weird' - how manipulated were these people

Finished Euphoria... just stunning. I didn't like some story choices but a truly beautiful show, one of the best things I've seen recently
