What?!! Why did we send our perfect tests over there?! If they didn't have our perfect tests then there would be no cases.96583UP wrote:This must be because all Americans are Donald Trump supporters and just traveled to Europe

Western Europe surpassed the U.S. in new daily Covid-19 infections, re-emerging as a global hot spot after bringing the pandemic under control earlier in the summer.
The 27 countries in the European Union plus the U.K., Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein recorded 27,233 new cases on Wednesday, compared with 26,015 for the U.S. That follows several weeks of resurgent infections in Spain, France and other countries across the continent.

New rule. Whiskey posts after all of verb's posts.

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Moderate cross-thread humor doesn't make your arguments anymore coherent.

I'm not really making any argument. There's no point. I'll leave that for people who worship at the altar of their news scrolls.

Re: Anybody want a Corona?
Just an FYI, over 5,000 US citizens died of COVID the week leading up to 9/11/20.
The death toll on 9/11/01 was 2,977.

Quick, someone call an expert. Or at least someone who has read all the covid articles in their news feed.

What are you even saying here? Why is it OK for you to post your drivel but everyone else needs a degree, 3 references and a peer review?

My position is pretty simple: nobody has any idea what they are talking about. No retweets have swayed me from this belief.

Re: Anybody want a Corona?
People die of cancer every day and yet we/you continue to use toxic chemicals in the every day goods you use and burn fossil fuels. We/you chose convenience and commerce every time and then berate people who adopt that same philosophy for Covid.B wrote:Just an FYI, over 5,000 US citizens died of COVID the week leading up to 9/11/20.

As Rangi said in this thread, the Aussi flu season killed the fewest people in a long time. Should Australia close shop forever to continue to save lives? Or just make those lives fodder to convenience and commerce once a Covid vaccine is to be had?
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

Fair enough.verb_to_trust wrote:My position is pretty simple: nobody has any idea what they are talking about. No retweets have swayed me from this belief.
But on the other hand, no one is expecting this thread to come up with any solutions or anything, it's all just discussion.
I'm always happy for an informative tweet or article. I know most here are intelligent enough to filter any and all news they consume, regardless of where it comes from.
Re-posting a tweet doesn't mean you are married to the opinion.

Re: Anybody want a Corona?
I was a good soldier early on and I still respect all the guidelines, but whenever someone from the Whitehouse or the University of Washington or wherever hops on face the nation or something via zoom and lays down a bunch of tough talk I just roll my eyes at this point. None of these people have been right about much of anything and just come across as kind of pathetic for thinking they can outsmart a force of nature.
