I was "fortunate" enough to score a case of it when it was released. You're right, it was terrible. I put them aside and returned to them one night when I had nothing to drink. Surprisingly, they aged well. I'm curious if someone opens one to hear how they taste now.

Drink one, you puss. It wasn't that bad when it was released. And it might be interesting nine years later.

Is Dog Fish still any good? I remember it being like "oh theres better beer out here than the swill I usually drink" Like an entry into craft beer nonsense, lucky for me it never stuck so I still pound Banquets and Heavies.

Dogfish Head is an all-round really good brewery.
I don't particularly like their 120 minute IPA (or any IPA above 10% ABV).

Dogfish Head is an experimental brewery. We have a local brewery, Fullsteam, that is very similar.

When they hit, they HIT. And when they miss, oh god, it is a terrible beer.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Jumping to (historically consistent) conclusions here, but I’m guessing they spent more time and money making the names and the labels than they did the beer.

I was going to describe the beers in the main page, but their instagram page only described the inspiration for the labels. It did not describe the beers.
Eddie Vedder and composition notebooks are synonymous at this point. What we aspired to achieve was turning this notebook into Jeremy Wade Delle’s notebook (the titular character to the song). You’ll see his initials, some drawings, an homage to Green River, Mother Love Bone, Mookie Blaylock. Richardson High School’s mascot is also represented as well as cultural references of D.A.R.E. the Presidential Election and his sign off of “Later Days” from his last letter to a school friend, instead of his usual, “Write Back.”
Immortality was often linked to the death of Kurt Cobain (note the sunglasses) given the timing of the song premiering live, and of course the words “cigar box on the floor” often being referred to one of the crime scene photos. Instead of referencing the tragic loss of Kurt and drug paraphernalia, we used this concept to pay tribute to the many legends that have previously passed, yet still live on in our ears daily.

CoryellCourt is a direct reference to the movie Singles which featured many of the bands from Seattle - and a garage door opener signifying the memory seemed appropriate.

Hi, How Are You? is a reference to a tshirt Kurt Cobain wore, of the Daniel Johnston song - Pearl Jam also covered Walking The Cow later that year at the Bridge School Benefit in 1994.

The Apple is in memory of Andrew Wood - Mother Love Bone.
”Come and Save Me” and the Jesus Christ picture with his eyes sewn shut is a tribute to Layne Staley - and is an image of one of his tattoos - a reference to Man in the Box by Alice in Chains.
The spiral fork was a gift from Shannon Hoon of Blind Melon to Chris Cornell.

We miss all of these singers dearly.
etc ...
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
