I'm a ps4 user, but I'm very jealous of gamepass, plus my ps4 kinda sucks for streaming. I'm on the fence
Not switching, but I am intrigued by GamePass and Xbox. I may get one mid-generation if there is enough exclusive content that I am interested in.

Pre-order through Sony was painless. Had a waiting room with a countdown and once I was in it took 2 minutes with no slowdown.

Not sure if true: Walmart.com will have additional preorder stock tonight at 9:00.

True: Walmart has cancelled in store preorders to avoid chaos and queuing.

Good they acknowledged it, but it seems like better messaging could have avoided most of the mess.

Really curious to learn more in the future how much COVID-19 has disrupted their marketing and supply chain.

Microsoft has done a much better job, but they also had no first party games of note to launch this year either. They could devote everything to it.

Microsoft has quietly had a really good year with games like Ori, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Tell me Why, Gears Tactics, Battletoads, Wasteland 3 (not exclusive but helped funded by Microsoft) etc. None of them are on the scale of Sony’s but its been a good year for quality, IMO. Shame that Halo wasn’t ready for launch.

Looks good to me. Not too big.

Man, that $720 was a tough spend, and a surprise to Raz who was expecting $500. But with some 'splaining (will end up buying games and extra controller eventually) she gets it and I think I'm going to keep this pre-order just to be sure I get one. I don't totally trust Antonline and that I will be receiving order within 5 days after Sep. 12th, but glad I spent through Amazon with their money-back policies, just in case.

Wasn't so sure about the games, either, Spiderman special deluxe launch edition and Demon Souls. But I think these are great choices because I haven't played the PS4 Spiderman and there's a remastered version of it included. I also haven't played the original Demon Souls (or any of the Souls games prior to Bloodborne), so that's a huge plus also.

What I'm also excited about is revisiting RDR2, GOW, and LOU2, also comparing/contrasting Madden 21 on the new rig, to see the performance enhancements and what not. Also just been holding out playing these oldies til the new console for more to be excited about.

Looking forward to November, let's go woot woot ?!
