State Of Play.

I wonder how i missed this one. 2009 at its finest. Russell Crowe looks like Ed in 2006. Ben Affleck was soooo slim. Rachel McAdams was already a star. Helen Mirren and Jeff Daniels are also here. Viola Davis! David Harbour. Oh, and Robin Wright.

Jason Bateman. Michael Beresse! And Harry Lennix, my God. Not to mention Barry Shabaka Henley. Also Sarah Lord and Zoe Lister-Jones. Yes! And who could forget Maurice Burnice Harcum as Ben's Cashier?

Ha, I almost watched this the other night because I wanted to see something with Rachel Mcadams playing a character along the lines of TD season 2 but I never intend to watch TD season 2 again, of course. But the trailer was so 2009 that I decided against it. Maybe I'll look at it tonight

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

The Dark Knight Rises

My only complaint is that I wish Bruce would have gone over and given Alfred a hug at the end.

I’m Thinking of Ending Things.

Watched it last night, and ugh...too damn long, and unsettling. I don’t know much about Kaufman, but from what I’ve been reading this is his thing. idk, just seems like the story (film) could’ve been shortened a little.
