That was the first close game for the Lakers in the playoffs. I know they won but I don't think they want to play close games against the Heat or Celtics. Part of my delusional optimism right now is that I think the Heat's end-of-game defense could give the Lakers nightmares.

I wish game 4 wasn't forever away. I'm guessing they changed game 4 from today to Wednesday because LeBron didn't want the East champ to get extra rest?

They just wanted the series to be more aligned. No conspiracy theory here...

I know, I know. Still, they could have done better by starting the series closely together. I think the Nuggets just messed up their plans. Having game 7 and game 1 on the same night was lame right from the jump. And then having game 2 in the East before game 1 in the West. Oh well. It's probably better this way, two extra days before I decide the season is over and the Heat have no hope.

Just think, this gives Gordan Hayward's wife more time to go into labor.

Nah. He makes their small lineup zone-proof. I expect Miami to abandon the zone almost altogether against any small lineup the rest of the series.

And he's no longer leaving the bubble for the birth of his latest kid.

Davis is so fucking soft sometimes. He makes a three and then shows up the next game playing like Muggsy Bogues.

Putting Marcus Smart on Goran Dragic is the move of this series so far. Butler is going to have to come out and do something to try to make Stevens rethink that strategy otherwise this could get ugly real fast.
