Awesome. I love your enthusiasm. I haven’t listened to any music in a couple of months. Tonight may have to be a Gigaton night. Too bad I’m out of weed.VinylGuy wrote:fuck yeah. Re: The Protest Thread
I read a big gotcha article about nba owners who contribute to conservative political candidates, as if that was not allowed or something. People vote with their pocketbook. Shocking.

Re: The Protest Thread
Imagine your child was Breonna Taylor. She was a promising paramedic (?) asleep in her bed and cops looking for drugs in the wrong house kick in the door and she ends up dead in her bed with, I don't know, half a dozen bullet wounds. You leader's response to you is a shrug, "we got the house wrong, and sorry, that sort of thing happens. No one is at fault.". This wasn't a tree falling on her house. This was people shooting her. Shooting at a person that shot at them and missing him, missing so badly they were actually charged with a crime of negligently missing.Bi_3 wrote:verb_to_trust wrote:I hope Barkley doesn't get cancelled for what he said on Inside the NBA last night. Even if they'd had the right house, the level of fire power and the use of a no-knock warrant and an assault team is absolutely absurd for a drug offense.
The response of Breonna's community is pretty tame given the number of people who fucked up that night, and the fact that none of them appear to give a shit. The laws are wrong. The execution of the laws are wrong. The detectives we're wrong. The assault team was wrong. Fuck anyone who supports keeping that pile of shit in place with a que sera sera.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I don’t know too much about this case, not really gonna spend time this on this, but I think you may be leaning on some facebook facts here:B wrote:Imagine your child was Breonna Taylor.
