Upon first listen:

I don't think it's going to change either. I don't even want to hear it again honestly.

Still loving MYM and the other leaked tracks though

Its not awful. I can see the Pink Floyd comparisons, but only in the most superficial, glossy way imaginable. It has none of the experimental qualities of that band.

As I said, I wish there were real sirens over the top and some movie dialogue.

nope, based on all of you guys reactions, like, you know, when you're using descriptors such as 'Take That', 'Kelly Clarkson', 'Springsteen', 'romantic comedy song', 'radio hit', actually that stuff is way more scary than what strat or McP have said

OK, I am kind of unashamedly using terrible descriptors to be fair. Sorry.

i don't know.. i'm disliking this less with each listen.

yes, there's cheese abound, especially lyrically. but the fact that the guy in the song is facing possible death gives it a little more weight.

and the fact that his lady-friend's face makes his fear go away, well, that's pretty sweet.

i'm starting to like this song. certainly the 2nd half of it.

Can anyone privately help me out here? I'm a bit worried about the reactions, all this cheese talk, I'm expecting some kind of G'n'R/Bon Jovi/Kings of Leon sex on fire-type concoction. Hopefully I'm wrong as usual.
