This is a brown pants game for the Heat.

I'd rather focus on Miami knocking out the Celtics again. At the start of the 4th I felt like the game and series were slipping away, but Bam really took over.
I've also come over to Bada's side on Tatum, I really wasn't impressed with him very often in this series.

Re: NBA Thread
Tatum has all of the physical tools, but he is very inconsistent from quarter to quarter. I'm not sure if it is conditioning, enabling by coaching, or a general lack of a killer instinct. He's still pretty young though.4/5 wrote:I'd rather focus on Miami knocking out the Celtics again. He's young so I'm not going to sit here and be too tough on him and have to regret underestimating him for the next decade. He's obviously a good shooter and he hit shots whenever Miami left him wide open, but it seemed like he really struggled whenever he was actually defended. I thought Jaylen Brown was better and more consistent than Tatum. Tatum seemed too content to take contested jump shots over and over again.Monkey_Driven wrote:Tatum has all of the physical tools, but he is very inconsistent from quarter to quarter. I'm consistently impressed with Brown and Smart (when he's not shooting 15+ shots a game).4/5 wrote:He's young so I'm not going to sit here and be too tough on him and have to regret underestimating him for the next decade. Yeah when Smart hit two 3s early I was torn between “ok great Smart is gonna have his random fluky 6/9 from 3 game” or “ok dude is gonna take (and hopefully miss) way more shots than he has any right taking tonight.”

Instead it ended up being the random "Iggy shoots the lights out from 3" game.4/5 wrote:Yeah when Smart hit two 3s early I was torn between “ok great Smart is gonna have his random fluky 6/9 from 3 game” or “ok dude is gonna take (and hopefully miss) way more shots than he has any right taking tonight.”

Re: NBA Thread
Yeah that was very unexpected lol. I did think Miami had ton shoot better from 3 than they had been because math. But definitely didn’t have Iggy being the guy to do it.Monkey_Driven wrote:Instead it ended up being the random "Iggy shoots the lights out from 3" game.4/5 wrote:Yeah when Smart hit two 3s early I was torn between “ok great Smart is gonna have his random fluky 6/9 from 3 game” or “ok dude is gonna take (and hopefully miss) way more shots than he has any right taking tonight.”
