We were running the AC last night, so I don't think it's that. I checked all the vents and they smelled normal. The scent dissipated really quickly too.

This would be outside by the unit itself, yeah?

We're all good inside. I haven't checked the outside area yet because it's been raining. Thanks!

Well, i learned the importance of getting numerous quotes and having multiple professionals look at any given household item in need of repair.

Finally found a plumber worth a damn who was willing to fix my hot water heater.

Now, it could last another week or ten years but he saved me $1,500.

The electrician is back today to finish the job he started last week. 14 light fixtures down, 3 to go. I think he hates the dining room light my wife picked out and is trying to be nice about it.

i used to have a spot in my last place where water would come in, we tried to patch it a million times and it wouldnt work. flaw in the roof design. so i built a tin foil apparatus to catch and redirect the water into the neitherworld of the fireplace chute

I'm averaging probably 6 trips to the hardware store per week since we moved. I'm going to be swimming in Menards rebate bucks soon.

I don't have experience in snow blowing, but I generally try to live by the mantra "buy it right, buy it once." I didn't heed that advice when I bought a $100 Ryobi leaf blower/trimmer set and now I'll probably have to upgrade both items again within the next year because they just aren't cutting it. Pay the extra money for some power and durability, trag.
