This is probably my second favourite after DOTC. It's been a while since I've listened to the whole album, but I still feel the urge to play this one from time to time.

Before Gigaton was released, if you would have told me that one of my favourite moments on the album would be when he sings "Thank you Bob Honey" during an Ed Ved Spritzy Rocker, I would have slapped you in the face.

It's not a great song, but for its category and type of Pearl Jam song, it has some really good parts, especially the last minute.

I'm trying to learn all the bass lines in Gigaton, and this afternoon I've been working on Never Destination. Well, all I can say is that it is an extremely weak song, in all respects.

It is the worst song on the album by far, the only part worth it is the little wink that Eddie gives to Tom Petty in the final section.

Sadly, Never Destination is flat, boring and uninspired.

Here's the bassline:

Lol. Fuck off, nerds. Never Destination is all kinds of fun and catchy ass hell. It’s not my favorite on Gigaton by any means, but it’s far from least favorite or “bad”. I go back to it pretty regularly and it always sounds good to my ears.

DeeDee: *plays fucking awesome-styled bassline with unprecedented skill for the entertainment of RM, while looking so relaxed he may as well have his eyes closed*

also DeeDee: "this song sucks"

Also i never noticed that little bass lick in the bridge.

Also you missed a harmonics before kicking back into the last verse. Pretty certain thats ament that does it.

One of the more underrated gems of their later-era. Really dig this one.

It's one of their best late album cool downs. It feels open and excited to be here. I love how it comes in from far away

It's one of the worst songs they've ever recorded.
