Lets see about number 2
I had the same reaction. Somewhere around listen 3 or 4 the loins began to stir.
bingo
Btw, this is the opening of my next novel.

I'm sensing a lot of melancholy actually, sort of gives me a lump in my throat. Grey weather song. But I'm pretty weird.

upated take on the lyrics

Hear the sirens (x3)
Hear the circus all go found (?)
I hear the sirens
More and more in this here town
Let me catch my breath to breathe then reach across the bend
Just to know we’re safe, I am a grateful man
This light is pit (?), alive and I can see you clear
I could take your hand, and feel your breath
For fear that someday will be over
I pull you close, so much to lose
Knowing that nothing lasts forever
I didn’t care, before you were here
I danced with laughter, with the ever after
But, all things change, let this remain
Hear the sirens
Covering distance in the night
The sound, echoing closer, will they come for me next time
For every choice, mistake I made, is not my plan
To see you in the arms of another man
And if you choose to stay, I’ll wait, I’ll understand
It’s a fragile thing, this life we lead
If I think too much, I can’t get over
When by the graves, by which we live
Our lives with death over our shoulders
Want you to know, that should I go
I always loved you, held you high above too
I studied your face, the fear goes awaaaaaay
It’s a fragile thing, this life we lead,
If I think too much, I can’t get over
When by the graves, by which we live our lives
With death over our shoulders
Want you to know, that should I go
I always loved you, held you high above too
I studied your face,
The fear goes away (x4)

guys, this is Mike's song he's super passionate about. that alone should temper some of the initial kneejerk reactions

This song is terrible. Awful. Easily the worst of the songs I've heard so far.

I'm calling BS. It's better than at least 95% of the songs on your username.

Thanks. I used to be on the board, same username. Didn't realize everything was reset at one time? Fell off the message board grid for a few years.

I was being hyperbolic. It's more like 94%.*
