It's OK to admit these people are stupid and got this shit because they're constantly anti-mask. It's pretty fucking obvious.
Yeah I just saw something that said Mark Meadows just left the west wing not wearing a mask.
It is preventable.
I wouldn't go that far. You and I will both get this, friend.
i've been going out into the world for work for six months - into just about every environment you can think of - and haven't contracted covid. i wear a mask, wash my hands, and distance from people whenever possible. it works.
I think it's good for everyone to do their best but I still think we'll all get sick eventually. I think it's important for our collective psyche to give up this notion that we are in control.
Yes, it seems to have done your psyche a lot of good
I don't spend every waking moment obsessing over shit I can't control so I do have that going for me.

Not sure that spending half of every day on a message board news forum doesn’t qualify as “obsessing over shit I can’t control.”

My engagement level here is much less than say some doomer who combs the entirety of twitter for things to retweet.

We are absolutely in control of our own conduct and how we protect others. One of the deep ironies of this virus is that Republicans have preached "personal responsibility" for decades but have decided to completely eschew that concept when it's needed most. It's almost like it was total bullshit!

Apparently the octomom has already had covid so we don't get to enter her testing positive into the scenario.

Pity the poor White House that just spent weeks saying “we lied to you to prevent panic,“ and now has to go on TV and say “the president is doing just fine.”
