i have to...it's not an option, but i am slowly but surely building up
guys, ultra marathon runners walk for stretches. you need to stop wasting time worrying about this and just enjoy the entire process. make sure you are paying attention to your body during those walks and resetting anything that's getting tight.
oh i know...i used to be more frustrated, but i know there's nothing i can do about it...it's really hard for me to run more than like .40 miles consistently though
.41 is right around the corner and that's all that matters. it is all positive. but i know you are starting to get it. because you are out there with the rest of us. #squad

Monday I’ll probably be able to get around .75 miles the first time, but subsequent jogs are what get me...right now I’m just trying to prep for a 5k

Full disclosure I am taking at least 1 walk during my first 5km so far this summer. If I can cut that walk I should break my 5km record.

haha. I swear when I was a teen I did it in like 19 or 21 minutes but who knows if that is even close to true. right now my watch says my record is 23 minutes and like 40 seconds.

15.3 kms at 5:37 pace

I expected today to go better

Either way I think it was another step in the right direction for my ankle.

Ran 11 miles last week. Hoping to hit 12 this week and keep adding 1 mpw until I reach 20, then maintain that until there's an actual race to train for.

I've regressed so much since the 50k in May. I was maxing out my HR just to maintain my old "easy" pace yesterday. Shameful.

I did a 10k. My last pair of Boston 7s are just about toast. I think I might try the Saucony Endorphin Speed next.

What do you get when you combine saucony, toast, and a pearl jam album?
Spoiler: show

7:58 mile pace. We ate at a restaurant last night and I ate until I was sick to my stomach. Also had a sour beer. So I wasn't feeling very fast today.
